About Us
Kins Physio & Pilates is a boutique physiotherapy clinic built on the foundation of movement, connection, and care. The word Kins comes from kinship, representing our commitment to fostering strong relationships—between body and mind, between clients and therapists, and within our community. Just as kinship signifies support and connection, we focus on helping you move better, recover effectively, and build strength through expert physiotherapy and Pilates. At Kins Physio & Pilates, our goal is to create a space where you feel supported in your journey to better health and well-being.

Our Story
With over 12 years of experience as a physiotherapist at the largest acute hospital in Singapore, Melissa brings a wealth of expertise and dedication to her practice. She has undergone extensive rotations in various specialties where she honed her skills in rehabilitation and musculoskeletal care.
Her own experiences with closed ones who have been afflicted with breast cancer paved the way for Melissa to become a certified lymphoedema and breast cancer rehabilitation therapist who works closely with oncology patients, offering specialised oncology rehabilitation to support their recovery and quality of life. Her compassionate and personalised approach ensures her patients receive the best care tailored to their unique needs.
Driven by a passion for movement-based healing, Melissa developed a keen interest in Pilates, leading her to become Pilates-trained. She incorporates Pilates as a rehabilitation tool, blending strength, flexibility, and control to help clients regain function and confidence in their daily lives. Her special interest lies in using Pilates as a rehabilitation tool in the breast cancer population and other orthopaedic conditions such as total knee replacements and hip replacements.
With a master's degree in Palliative Care, Melissa is committed to providing holistic and evidence-based care that empowers her clients to achieve optimal health and well-being.
When not in the clinic, Melissa enjoys working on her own health and fitness, practicing Pilates (there is always room for improvement), strength training and cooking healthy meals!
